jpoet112 said something interesting about my entry about John. Is he content? Maybe he is. He lives with his baseball buddies and I am sure he is having a fun time. But when he graduates in 379 days and has a degree he can't do much with, how happy will he be then? See, I always think of the long term. And yeah, I DO think a history degree is pretty worthless. Many of my friends use it as a springboard to law school. Some study history because they want to be a teacher. John is doing neither. Of course, John has never thought beyond baseball. Obviously not even a farm team is going to take him now. I don't mean to sound so mean, but seriously, his injury really fucked him up. He won't play baseball for a team once he graduates. He's barely playing now.

So, yeah, I think that's all I have to say on that.
