I always wonder, why does something (or someone) that seems good in theory or on paper seem like such a disaster?

I got a cat, to be more specific, the kitten from hell. She claws at me and tries to bite at me when we play and I know she's a kitten, and that she needs to learn not to do that crap, but in the meantime I am going nuts! I think she may need to go back... :(
