looking back

New Years Eve was rather ho-hum. We are usually at Jim's parents for new years, but this year he doesnt live there, and I really did not feel like staying overnight. With it being so far and with so many crazy drivers I knew if we went we would have to stay the night.

So we rolled into new years eve day, and had no plans. I was not terribly concerned. But then it turned out that his housemates were throwing a party, so we decided to just go with that.

We went to the mall, did some shopping, always fun. By the time we got back, there were tons of people; mind you, it was before 7.

So we played some games, watched people get drunk, and after the countdown via Dick Clark, we headed upstairs to watch some Sex and the City....mmmmm

Fun times. I'm not being sarcastic...it was kinda fun.

PS - we saw Maid in Manhattan and it was really good!
